Steven D. Croxton
Founder, Managing Member and Head of Investment Banking
- Over 35 years of experience in international, corporate and investment banking
- Over $40 billion involved in gaming and hospitality financing and advisory transactions for a variety of public and private corporations
- Member of the Board of Directors of Rekor Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: REKR), a technology and artificial intelligence company focused on smart roadways and cities
- Previously served on the Board of Directors of Peninsula Gaming, LLC, a highly successful private equity investor in the gaming sector
- Founding Investment Banker, Group Head and Partner with Rice, Voelker, LLC
- Founding Banker and former Group Head of the Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Group at Jefferies & Company, Inc., where he worked for 16 years
- Co-founded Gaming & Leisure practice of First National Bank of Commerce (now JP Morgan/Chase) and also worked in the Corporate Banking Group
- Commenced banking career in the International Banking Department of PNC Financial

Robert Basic
Senior Vice President
- Over 20 years of experience in investment banking and finance
- Involved in over $22 billion of financing and advisory transactions for a variety of public and private companies, including debt and equity capital raises, M&A advisory, and Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
- Prior to Stirling Street, worked for fourteen years as an investment banker at Rice, Voelker, LLC, where he most served as a Senior Vice President
- Prior to Rice Voelker, worked for 12 years as an investment banker at Jefferies & Company, where he most recently served as a Vice President in their Leveraged Finance Group
- Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
- Graduated magna cum laude with concentrations in Finance and Accounting
- Holds Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses
Matthew Tomsuden
Associate
- Three years of experience in investment banking and five years of experience in finance related positions
- Prior to Stirling Street, worked for 2 years as an investment banker at Rice, Voelker, LLC, where he most recently served as an Associate
- Previously worked at Matrix Capital Markets Group as an Investment Banking Analyst in their Consumer and Industrial Products Group
- Other roles include Associate Analyst at LPL Financial, Securities Analyst II at Wells Fargo, and Financial Service Representative (Key Accounts) at T. Rowe Price
- Received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina with concentrations in Accounting and Finance
